WE ARE IN ZAMBIA!!
i can't write too much, only that i love it here. africa is so cool. that is probably a completely insensitive thing to say because it is a continent filled with sickness, poverty, and warfare, however.... my week here has been really cool.
to me it feels like camping in the bush. beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and STARS!!! wow.. absolutely stunning.
the kids here are so cool, too. absolutely adorable. we are in ndola right now and we are heading to livingstone for kids camp on sunday.
church was also beautiful. i could listen to them sing forever! the harmony is beautiful.

YIPPEE!! You made it!! All of your luggage, too, I gather? Sitting at a computer in Raleigh, NC gearing up for a week of visits and meals. Can't wait to hear what happens next! Praying for you! Susan
ReplyDeleteIn 1993, Ben Brenner's grandmother took me (Sarah) and Ben to Africa... after seeing Victoria Falls, we crossed the bridge between Zimbabwe and Zambia on foot, just to say we'd been in Zambia. Livingstone is really close to Victoria Falls! I agree, Africa is amazingly beautiful! Glad you're there... and I'm praying for the time you are. Sarah
ReplyDeleteWow, now I'm getting jealous of the two of you - shame on me! I absolutely love the sound of African singing. Two Africans sang a song at the ILF in Manila and it was one of my favorite memories of my time there. Can't wait to hear more about your time there - it sounds so exciting!
